Kilimanjaro Sessions

Together with Cape Union Mart and Wild Frontiers I have been lucky enough to travel around South Africa giving information sessions on Kilimanajro and the Everest Base Camp trek.

In 2 short hours we take the audiance on a virtual trip to the summit of Africa, Uhuru Peak at 5895m above sea level. We cover the topics of Altitude Sickness (AMS), nutrition, and a day by day acoount of the Kili itenerary. I also have the pleasure of presenting with Pierre Pienaar, Cape Union Mart's equipment specialist. Pierre's passion for gear and his comical explanations make for an incredible evening with giveaways, snacks and a chance to ask all those questions you have about Kilimanajro.
