Mind Over Mountain Official Soundtrack

How cool would it be to have a soundtrack, like a movie does, but for a book to help bring the story to life? Here are some of the songs that I feel enhance the experience and bring the story to life.

Mind Over Mountain is the written account of my story From a Wheelchair to Mount Everest, which I have had the privilege of sharing with over 85 000 people at conferences and events on 5 continents.

I have included a Youtube link to each song.

Chapter: BITTER PILL

Hate Me - Blue October

This song accurately gives an in sight into the depths of depression and what it feels like to be a stranger in your own life.

Chapter 09:21AM NPT. 23 MAY 2009

Snow Patrol - Open your eyes

Of all the song to have in your head on the summit of the highest mountain on Earth...this was it.

EULOGY FOR BILLY

Amazing Grace

This piece is a common hymn at most funerals, but when performed on bagpipes, it is as moving as it is beautiful.

Chapter: SAY WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY

John Mayer - Say what you need to say

Goes without saying.

Chapter: IT'S OK TO PEE A LITTLE BIT

Katy Perry - Firework

At the finish line of Ironman, this song is still as clear as day. It would be impossible to find a song with more fitting lyrics.

Chapter: ONE DAY MORE

One day more - Les Miserables OST

On Denali in 2011, a day's rest would have made a world of difference for me. I thought Les Miserables was quite fitting, considering my state of mind at the time.

Chapter: AMA DABLAM

Ben Howard - Keep your head up

Walking back to camp from Camp 2 on Ama Dablam in the bright moonlight, this song was in my headphones...also perfectly fitting for where I was and what I was going through.

Then there ware some awesome tracks that keep in a playlist to keep energy and motivation levels up. Enjoy!

As always I am really grateful for the amazing response I have received since the book launched. We are proud to announce that over 4500 copies have been sold in paperback form AND Mind Over Mountain is available as an eBook on Amazon stores around the world!

If you'd like to get your hands on a copy (or ten) here's how you can do that.
